In this drawing, I learned not only about the chamfer tool, but, in finding dimensions you need to find through its context. Initially, I was quite unconfident that I would be able to complete this drawing as it looked fairly complex with its outside center lines (2Rx5) and the chamfers. However, the chamfer was fairly easy once you knew its options.

MICK_PL17.pdfMICK_PL16.pdfIn this Holder Block drawing, I was really intimidated by the 1.5 Diameter iso hole, as it was, for me, the hardest portion to draw out. This drawing features an Isometric view of the part so you can see more of its features as a whole. Initially, I had though that the through-hole was made by using the regular function of the Ellipse tool, but, after further examination, this is just an isocircle - that is, you use the command line to go to "Ellipse", "I" for Isocircle. I pulled extra lines from the edges and bottom to get the center lines and made the through-hole. Then trimmed away what was unnecessary.
MICK_PL04.pdfWhile I know that this drawing is an exercise in relative coordinates, meaning that each point is relative to the last as opposed to just entering in coordinates, I also was able to learn a bit about mirroring over the centerline as well. I was very intimidated by this at first, but, after the realativity clicked, I was well on my way to dominating this exercise.
MICK_PL14.pdfAnother isometric drawing! This wedge block introduced me to the Iso view (isometric in the command line, select Iso Left for this one). Reconfiguring your orientation can be daunting, but, isosnaps and a little math got me through it pretty handily.
MICK_PL15.pdfThis gear box gasket was a great challenge in learning circles and arrays! One thing to remember is to not associate your arrays if the need isn't there. This exercise was one wherein you needed to pay attention to detail for sure as there is a slight curve you can miss just outside of the circular center line.
